June Spa Party

Our June Spa Party was a hit!  We had about 10 guests, a representative from WrinkleMD, Dr. Benjamin Lam, a harpist, and free Shiatsu massages! Everyone present was able to try WrinkleMD themselves a product that is 15x more effective than just using Eye Cream for your fine lines around your eyes.

Happy Father's Day

Today is the Day we celebrate our Father's. There are as many type's of Father's as there are types of people and personalities.  We have farmer daddies, we have lawyer daddies, we have daddies with curly hair, and daddies with no hair.  We have papas, and dads, we have babas, tatas, and more in languages across the globe.

The word Father brings to mind so many different emotions and feelings.  It is wonderful that a word can be so complex.

So to our Father's whether they are here in person or in spirit we dedicate today.  If you are a Father reading this we say thank you for giving life, or if you are an adoptive father thank you for being there for us.

A Spa Party

When the Spa at the Bucks Club was under different management they would occasionally have open Spa parties.  We have had requests for such events and so are having a Spa Party on Thursday, June 20 starting at 6 pm and finishing up around 9 pm.  We are really excited about this event and want you to share in our joy.  We will have a Harpist on site so relax and soothe us during the massages.

But did you know that you can also have Spa Parties at your own home?  Whether it is a Bridal Shower, Baby Shower, or Girl's Night In; we can schedule our therapists to come and take care of you in the comfort of your own home.

Men at the Spa

When you think of the word 'Spa' many things come to mind, but the word 'man' is probably much further down the list than 'woman' or 'women'.  I even conducted a very scientific study on it...okay I asked a co-worker who was male...and their opinion is while it may be helpful and beneficial they would be less likely to deliberately take time out of their schedule to go to a spa for themselves.  I think this is a fairly normal thing for men in America.  If they go to a spa it is either because their wives have brought them in for a couples massage, or someone gave them a gift card and their wives/significant others have nagged them that the gift card is about to expire so they need to use it.

To us this is a shame.  Radiance Spa is located on a beautiful golf course and we provide services that would certainly allow the golfers to have greater freedom of movement, loosening their joints prior to their games, as well as pedicures that would help soften their feet so that they can better place their feet in preparation of their swing.  We also all know that the body has to release stress in some way.  Most of us go out to eat and intake too many calories from beer or shots, or veg in front of the television instead of relaxing in a healthy way like exercise or getting a massage.  To that end we are going to provide a list of options for our male clients so that they can think about their health in terms of going to a spa.

Facials: Why? Instead of buying a new car or another electronic device allow Daiva to exfoliate and hydrate your skin.  Most of us do not drink enough water this can affect our skin, prematurely aging us.  You may not want to keep up with all the products your significant other uses, but a facial is a great time to relax and take care of that part of you which is most visible to your clients, business partners, and friends.

Massages: Why? I hope we do not have to explain too much about this one.  All massages provide different benefits, but one of the biggest benefits is that regards less of whether you sit in a cubicle for 9 hours or you are outside all day doing construction our bodies start to ache.  We develop poor posture and get knots and aches that we cannot always get to easily.  Instead of letting it build up, have a professional work it out before it debilitates your performance at work.

Nails: Why? Who has to shake hands with clients? Who has had an ingrown toe which as been made worse by the shoes they need to wear for work?  Many men think that if they get a manicure or pedicure they have to have polish put on, not true! Just cleaning up new growth and cuticles can led to much healthier nail growth.
