New Services in Make-up

As we have said in previous blogs and posts we want to offer our clients the best services possible.  To that end we have added a new employee- Amy DeSimone!  Her motto is “Creating beautiful faces with a personal approach to individual style.”

Amy began her professional career in makeup artistry three years ago after completing the JAM makeup and airbrush certification courses at Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Philadelphia. Since her training Amy has been working as a successful on-location bridal, boudoir, runway, and sfx makeup artist in PA and NY. Her work has been published in several artist based magazines and continues to grace the runway at fashion shows such as Fashion 4 Development and Mercedes Benz NY Fashion Week as a Beautybyrudy (www.beautybyrudy.com) team member for designers Malan Breton and Zang Toi.

“I absolutely love what I do and I believe that makes all the difference in the world”.

It was at a bridal trial, with a client who had many questions about her skin and what she could do to “fix” certain problems she was experiencing, when Amy decided that she needed to go above and beyond with her career to ensure she was not only creating beautiful faces but also healthy skin for everyone who sat in her chair. This desire to not only help her clients look their very best, but to make sure their skin health was also being addressed and maintained, led her to return to Jean Madeline Aveda Institute to obtain her diploma in Esthiology.
